Ambercare® Hospice

Comfort and Compassion When It’s Needed Most

Hospice is a special kind of care for people with a life-limiting or terminal illness. It is also a philosophy of care that allows the patient to direct their own care, provides for the management of symptoms, ensures comfort and dignity, as well as provides much needed help and support for the families and loved ones of the patient. The primary focus of hospice care is quality of life rather than aggressive treatment or cure of a disease process. Hospice care is provided by a dedicated team of professionals in the patient’s place of residence—their home, a nursing facility, residential care facility or assisted living facility.
