Share Your Heart…Volunteer.

The Role of a Volunteer

Ambercare volunteers share the gift of their time by offering support and companionship to patients on hospice services. Volunteers develop relationships with patients and families through weekly visits at patients’ homes, assisted living facilities or nursing homes, wherever patients reside throughout our communities. These special individuals may read to a patient, take a walk, play games, hold a hand or simply listen and provide companionship. As a volunteer you can make a difference in someone’s life — including your own.
